this range is really about being yourself. It started from me saying to my son on a snowy ski run that was very busy ’ it’s okay to take up space on the hill, just take your time going down’ it was his first time down a blue run. (Which since it was Scotland was mostly a lump of ice) That got me thinking how it was true for life. It’s okay to take up space in what ever you do. You are here. Just as you are. Take up space. If just one of you reads this and it resonates with you I will be a happier woman.

….all the different parts of teapots! They actually don’t take too long to throw all the individual bits on the wheel the day before, but putting them all together takes longer today for sure! Then trying not to muck them up with a dodgey glaze will be the next challenge!

I really love finishing things. Trimming and fitting lids especially, to get that perfect fit… it’s a great feeling. These wee labels I spent a full day carving words a few years back and I am still enjoying pressing them today.

Hello lovely people! Hope you are getting excited for Christmas now Halloween is over! Due to lots and lots of likes about the pottery drop in sessions every saturday from 22nd Nov until Christmas I have decided to be very organised and do slots instead!!! Please find below the wee link. It’s jut your name and email and you pay on the day. You will watch a wee instruction video and then have a wee go on the wheel making a wee pot guided by myself. There is room in the shop for one person to watch while the other is on, and there is a bit of a waiting room space upstairs if you come in a larger group. Please note there are no public toilets and the sink for hand washing is outside!!! Looking forward to sharing this wonderful skill with people.
