We’re delighted to announce that Edinburgh Bicycle has taken the reins at Giant Store Stirling. The shop remains the best, go-to place for Giant bikes in Central Scotland, but now under new management

BIG NEWS

End of an era.....Velocity 44 Business hands the reigns for running Giant Stirling store to Edinburgh Bicycle Coop.

Its been my pleasure in running the business for the past 15 years and I'll miss the customers and friends I've made over this time.

It felt that this year it was time to open a new chapter personally and delighted that EBC stood up and offered to continue running Giant Stirling in Barton Street, Stirling. Please don't hesitate to drop them a call or pop in to see the new faces and the great new products that will be rolling in over the next few months.

🏅 Scottish Sprint Tri Champs - age group win (50-54). I’m a happy man. :-)

Loved the swim, the sea was pretty rough and chaotic - every man for himself, with no chance of following feet or getting into a pack. I had no idea what position I was in, as the waves made sighting anything or anybody just guesswork! I thought there must be about 20 folk in front, but it turns out there were only 7!

Fast, flat and windy bike - I moved up to 6th place in the overall race, coming into T2 right behind 4th and 5th place. The cadex did it’s job into the wind!

While I might be competitive against the young guns for swim and bike, I soon forgot all about overall placings on the run and set about defending my age group place - I thought I ran pretty well, but the next 50+ guy ran a minute faster than me! I had enough in the bank though and held on by about 25 seconds.

Happy (old) man!

Great weekend for the V44 team!

It was round 3 of the Gralba Gravel Series and it was out local race in Carron Valley.

William , Wayne , Kenny and Jane all had great races leading to fantastic results in their categories.

William VM40 10th
Jane VF 1st
Wayne VM50 1st
Kenny VM60 1st

Thanks to for organising a great event and well done to everyone who raced, weather could of been a tad better 🤣☔️
