Whilst I'm making a guitar I often tap it in various places to get a feeling on how it's reacting. Sometimes I get carried away. But I do find a responsive drum makes a responsive guitar!

One for the wood geeks. It's not flash, it's not crazy but it is beautiful straight grain Indian Rosewood. The deep purple colour and the even growth makes this set special. I've had it for a long time and it felt right to use it now, don't ask me why!.... ..

On my way to Iserlohn Guitar Festival. First flight from rainy Edinburgh, second from hot sunny London. Sometimes the stereotypes are true!
