This weekend is finally here!!🙌🎤💃

Three days of music right here in our wee city of Stirling! 🏰❤️
BBC Radio 2 in the Park has arrived — and just LOOK at that setting! 😍

What a weekend we’ve got coming… Chaka Khan, Simple Minds, Texas, Deacon Blue, The Script, Emeli Sandé, James Blunt, Jack Savoretti, Lulu, Blue, Cast, ABC, Appleton, Level 42… plus a whole load of Radio 2 DJs! 🎶

Just a few wee corners of the shop that were looking particularly lovely tonight as I was leaving… 🥰

After everything going on behind the scenes, I’m surprised anything was looking lovely at all to be honest 🤷‍♀️🙈

We were in until 10pm last night finishing an order — what a team! Then today brought a wee bit more stress getting the final boxes ready for collection, all while serving customers, creating cards, printing mugs and taking in constant deliveries!

A massive thanks to Nicdoesfelt for helping out today ❤️

We got there in the end!

Music Monday 🎶🎤

I’m back in the land of the living today, after an absolute belter of a night on Saturday watching at Kelpies Live at Helix Park!
Now I know I say this after nearly every band I see live…
but they were absolutely AMAZING! We danced all night and ended up in a wee ceilidh with total strangers who were loving it just as much as us 😂

Sunday was a total couch day, but so worth the hangover. 😂
I’ve already booked to see them again in November 🙈 🥳
And of course are blaring in the shop — fully embracing my Beluga Lagoon era 😆

Speaking of the shop — new stock’s been arriving all week, including these gorgeous faux flowers from ADELES FLOWERS 🍂💐 Soft rusty tones, wee thistles tucked through them, so realistic you’d never know. Love them! ❤️

Now I’m looking forward to another full weekend of music this weekend in Stirling BBC Radio 2 for ! 🙌🎵
Can’t wait to hear all the different artists in our wee city! 🎶🎸🎤

The sun is back oot today ☀️

The last couple of days have been all about the grandkids for me — precious cuddles with our new wee grandson, play dates with my wee granddaughters, pancake making this morning, then picking apples and berries. You just canny beat these moments with the grandchildren… they’re priceless❤️

But this afternoon, Granny is officially off duty! 😆🍹

The shop is still open, though, with both of the young team in today! ❤️

A few drinks in Stirling first Slanj-A-Va , then we’re heading to Falkirk for cocktails and food at one of my favourite restaurants, Cafe Corvina, before seeing at Kelpies Live at Helix Park!

If you’ve been in the shop lately, you’ll have heard Beluga Lagoon blaring — I’m fully in my Beluga Lagoon phase just now 😂🎵
Ive even got one of my Granddaughter’s Maddie loving them too, with her fav song being Isla! 😍 She thinks it’s hilarious 😂

I only nipped across the road for chocolate — because I really need to stop eating our stock 🙈🍫

It’s been another slightly mad day, trying to sort LOTS behind the scenes, but had to take this wee picture before the rain comes.

Well… this is as far as today’s wee yap got! 😂
Lovely customers just kept coming through the door.🤷‍♀️

We had ladies in from Glasgow saying, “Isn’t this such a lovely wee shop? We’re so glad we came in!” ‘I love wee shops like this ‘ as they picked up a few wee things for Christmas ❤️

Then more lovely ladies came in, laughing and giggling their way around the shop. One was visiting from Melbourne, where she’s lived for 50 years, but she hadn’t lost her Scottish accent at all! They left with lots of our own designs to take home. as reminders of Scotland.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Then a familiar local lady came in, we both knew each other but couldn’t work out where from! We got there eventually 🤦‍♀️
Loved making some beautiful cards for her mum’s birthday ❤️

We also had lots of our regular customers in, so had a wee yap and catch-up with them, obvs 😆

Then there was the loveliest Canadian lady, who lives in London and came in as she had read all our reviews online 🙏❤️

Honestly, it was just one lovely person after another today. You must have all come off the same bus! 😂 You’ve made me a very happy wee shopkeeper once again ❤️

I’m heading to bed early tonight — there’s so, so much to sort out tomorrow! 🤦‍♀️

September the 1st… already?! 😳

The leaves are starting to fall and coorie season has officially arrived! 🍂

Naomi and I got stuck into changing the window up yesterday, and obsessed with the colours in there. Come and have a wee look next time you’re on Port Street!👀

Who’s looking forward to candles, hot chocolate and cozy blankets on the couch? This is the good bit of the year! 🥰

We’ve got a busy September ahead, with 250 x corporate gift bags leaving us next week and a massive event the week after. Send help… and lots of wine! 😅

August in the shop was super busy , so just wanted to say how grateful we are that you came along and chose to shop with us.

What a day for Stirling! 🏳️‍🌈☀️🎉

The sun is oot, Stirling Pride is filling the city with colour, and we’ve got two very special birthdays to celebrate too!

My youngest daughter Callie is officially 13 today — how did that happen?! My wee rainbow baby 🌈🥹❤️
And our lovely Kirsty is celebrating her fabulous 50th! 🎂🥂

There’s loads happening across Stirling today, with the Pride march leaving King’s Park at 11.30am, followed by live entertainment on King Street, the Pride Market at the Albert Halls, a ceilidh and lots more.

Happy Stirling Pride — and a huge happy birthday to Callie and Kirsty! What a brilliant day to celebrate. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
