Wallops Community Shop & Post Office We are a friendly community village shop and post office, open 7 days a week and offer local produce Mon to Fri - 8.00am to 5.00pm
Sat - 8.00am to 1pm.

Sun - 8.00am to 12 noon
Last Post 5.00pm Monday to Friday - 9.40am Saturday - No Collection Sunday
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE CLOSED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AFTERNOONS

Did our Volunteer Coffee Morning leave you feeling inspired to get involved with your community? Read Sarah B’s story 🪡🧶

Sarah is one of our wonderful behind-the-scenes volunteers, often found creating beautiful handmade items in her craft room at home.

Sarah started volunteering for the shop during the Covid-19 years by making face masks 😷 out of left over scraps from her quilting projects. Sarah said, it was a time when people needed masks, I had the skills and materials.

Since then, she’s continued to make the lovely gifts you see on sale in the shop throughout the year. You may even remember Ratty Rat 🐀, the star of our Murder Mystery fundraiser, lovingly crafted from a cushion cover!

Sarah is a great example of how volunteering doesn’t always happen on the shop floor. By sharing her creativity and skills, she’s made a real difference so to our community over the years.
