TODAY! The book sale at Cafe Blah will start around 4.30ish, with an open mic afterwards starting approx 7.45, so come down for a browse in Withington this afternoon or even put your name down to perform a poem or a song!

Open mics are a beautiful thing! Our Jonathan has been performing at them over the years and credits them for expanding his confidence and finding himself as an artist. If you've got something to say, whether that be a poem or a song, share it with us this Sunday at Cafe Blah!

This Sunday is our pop-up at the beloved Café Blah in Withington! Book sale with an open mic to follow! What's not to love? Come down and buy a book or share what's in your heart on the open mic this Sunday!

OUR NEXT EVENT:

A beautiful Blah pop-up! Free to attend! We loved doing this so much last November, we thought why not do it again! The brilliant Café Blah is a place close to our hearts and somewhere we have been enjoying we think ever since they started so it is always a massive joy to collaborate with them! On this note, on 31 May, we will be selling a flavour of our shop at Blah from 4-7, so expect esoteric old books, zeitgeisty new titles, comics, lit mags and vinyl!

There' more too... after the book sale has finished, we will be holding an open mic afterwards until about 9! So we want you if you are a performance artist of any kind (within reason) to share your talents on the Blah stage! Open mics are also greatly beloved by us so we want to present an eclectic loving night like so many we have been to over the years! More soon...

Thank you to everyone who came down on Saturday and of course a big thanks to Heidi Hinda Chadwick for gracing our shop and talking The Story of the Deer Woman with Janet and our audience!

It was an inspiring evening talking of Cities, the fading of green spaces in those cities, Manchester, modern mythology, The Man, femininity, coming of age, magic, wonder and horror. Her delicious short novel The Story of The Deer Woman is still available from us for only £10 for anyone who missed it but is intrigued by the book!

Our next event is gonna be 31 May - a pop-up at our beloved Café Blah in Withington where we'll be selling a flavour of our shop there 4-7, followed by a weird and wonderful open mic til about 9!

A host of writers from Darkest Margins - a book of essays on liminal spaces in horror (including writing on Lynch) will be visiting the shop this Saturday (02/05) !
