With just 2 weeks left of trading today we look back at some of the old pictures of the warehouse and some Exclusive lines we once did…

Did you know King Regal Black and White Mints were only ever produced for Morris and Son Stockport until our takeover in 2024.

Did you know Morris and Son Stockport once stocked over 70 flavours of The Fudge Factory 2kg Fudge in 2014/15

Curly Aniseed was once a regular line from Morris and Son Stockport but as traditional lines disappear will we ever see this one again 🤔. ?

We sold over half a million Wonka bars in the 6 years we had them….great line 😢

The pick and mix advent calendar started its life at our warehouse in Stockport.

Sales of the Family Favourites Liquorice box
Outsold any other Liquorice or Gift line we ever stocked.
We were selling over 1,200 per week and for one year did not even have them on sale due to the back log of orders we had…😲

Lot younger and had a full head of hair..

How prices have increased over the years..

Customer Notice…..

As many of you will already be aware, Stockport Sweets has experienced difficult trading conditions since 2024.

Despite every effort to overcome these challenges, our new owners have had to make the extremely difficult decision to close the business. 😢

Our current final day of trading will be Tuesday, 29th September 2026. However, please be aware that this date may need to be brought forward at short notice should circumstances change.

Over the next four weeks, we will continue to do everything we can to replenish our stock and keep our shelves as well stocked as possible. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific products, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to each and every one of our customers for your loyalty and support over the past 18 years — and, for some of you, even longer. Your custom has meant a great deal to us throughout the years, and we truly appreciate every customer who has supported Stockport Sweets.

We hope this is not goodbye forever, and we’re sure our paths will cross again in the future, so please don’t delete our contact details just yet!
