Im taking part in this years challenge since I have been very quiet over the past year!
I’m Jayne—a 40-year-old mum of three and the heart behind . I create a range of bath, body, hair, and face care products, all designed to bring a little luxury into your everyday routine.
My journey started during 2020, when I was pregnant with my second child and isolating during Covid. After years of struggling with work-life balance as a secondary school teacher, I knew it was time for a change. I had always dreamed of working for myself, but the idea of starting a business—especially in cosmetics—felt overwhelming. However, my passion for handmade skincare kept calling me, and in 2021, I finally launched my first cosmetic products.
In January 2022, our “surprise” third child arrived, giving me even more motivation to take the leap. By the end of that year, I officially left teaching, and since then, Cottage Fresh Scents has been my full-time business.
Over the past 4.5 years, my brand has grown beyond what I could have imagined. There have been challenges, lessons, and countless hours of behind-the-scenes testing, but I’m so proud of how far we’ve come. And the best part? There’s still so much more to come! I have exciting new products in the pipeline for 2025, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
