These crafty social zoom sessions are aimed towards people who struggle to get to in-person sessions, whether you have a busy family life, are anxious, or housebound and struggle to leave your house, and they are COMPLETELY FREE.

🦆 THE DUCKS ARE TAKING OVER! 🦆
We have a VERY busy weekend ahead at The Wooly Wood Shop & Creative Chaos CIC — and apparently we've prepared for it by creating an entirely unreasonable number of ducks. 😂
Saturday: we're heading out with our rapidly expanding duck army for the Stockton-on-Tees Round Table Duck Race! 🦆
We've got 300+ Design-a-Duck badge blanks, a frankly ridiculous number of plaster ducks ready to paint, and a huge collaborative duck banner for little (and big!) artists to help us fill with colour.
Sunday: we're back out again, this time supporting the wonderful Charlie & Carter Foundation, with another huge collaborative banner, personalised badge blanks, wooden coasters, plaster painting and plenty more creative chaos. ❤️
🛠️ SHOP CLOSURE
While we're busy causing chaos elsewhere, we're taking advantage of the weekend to carry out a little refurb at the shop, so The Wooly Wood Shop will be CLOSED this weekend.
Don't worry — we're not going anywhere! 😉 We'll be back once the dust, paint and general chaos have settled.
Keep an eye on the page over the weekend for photos from both events... particularly if you'd like to witness the beginning of the Great Duck Takeover of 2026. 🦆🌍

Update: the car has now been moved ☺

⚠️ ACCESS NOTICE – TODAY ⚠️
Just a quick heads-up for anyone planning to visit The Wooly Wood Shop / Creative Chaos today.
Unfortunately, a vehicle has been left completely blocking the pavement directly outside the shop, meaning we currently do not have accessible access to the premises.
We are OPEN as normal, but wheelchair users, mobility scooter users and anyone who needs clear level access may currently be unable to safely reach the entrance. We've already sadly had to advise one of our regular visitors not to make the journey today.
The vehicle has been reported to both the relevant enforcement team and the police via 101, and we're hoping it can be dealt with as soon as possible.
If you're unsure whether you'll be able to access us before setting off, please drop us a message. We'll update everyone once the pavement is clear again. ❤️
Sorry for the inconvenience — unfortunately this one is completely outside our control!

Tomorrow, home join us 10-3 at tennant square to paint a heritage inspired bus stop! Part of rhe activities for Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council heritage day 😀😀 no need to book, just turn up and pick up a brush 🤩
