Happy Wednesday.

Happy Mid Century Modern Monday 😃

I love a fresh new week and although I am super exhausted after a long weekend of travel and being at Crafterama Kent, which was amazing by the way. I am excited for a brand new week of inspiration AND a fun announcement on Wednesday.

Last week before I went to Crafterama Kent I needed to fill a couple if spaces on display boards and one space was on my Mid Century Modern board.

And this is what I chose to ink up.

Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder came back in stock recently and it was a delight to ink it up again. This set is more geared towards Christmas, but I love showing how my products can be used all year round.

I chose a super fun and colourful design, but one which took lots of masking! Thank goodness for a stamping platform to achieve a colourful look like this!

This card made me happy when I’d finished stamping, so that’s why I chose this sentiment and I completed the look with a sparkly bow.

Doodle Flowers ♥️

It seems like all I have said this week is, it’s been a while since I. And Stencil Sunday is another post I feel I haven’t done for SO long.

I am back today with a stencil feature.

This month in the Uniko VIP Facebook Group, the challenge is to ink up those stencils. I chose the Stencil - Doodle Flower.

I’ve not inked this stencil up for ages and it was so much fun. I used Honeysuckle, Poppy and Marmalade for my colours and for my sentiment I used a varierty from the coordinating Doodle Flowers clear stamp set.

Friday Flower Power 🌸

Glad to say we’ve made it to Kent, all be it we arrived 3 1/2 hours later than expected after getting stuck in 3 accidents on various motorways. A 5 hour journey taking 8 1/2 hours instead and we missed the window to set up the stand tonight.

Grateful to arrive in one piece though. But what a day 😮‍💨

Throwback Kindness 🌸

This week I’ve been busy prepping for Crafterama Kent and I gave the Uniko display boards a little refresh. I was looking through card samples and came across these two using Kindness Blooms.

I remember making this one where I stepped out of my comfort zone with some water colouring. And this card has sparked some creative mojo.

Uniko Style ♥️

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Two For Tuesday and while I was packing stamps yesterday I was inspired to ink up Uniko Style which has recently come back into stock.

This card was inspired by a print I saw on Pinterest. I was drawn to the two colour split and tone on tone stamping.

Fond Farewell’s ♥️

Yesterday was a tough day at Uniko HQ as today we said a fond farewell and thank you to not one, but two amazing, creative Uniko Brand Ambassadors. These two ladies have become wonderful friends over the years and are just like family.

Thank you Steph and Anita for all you have done for me and Uniko over the years.

Your creativity has been truly inspiring and you will be greatly missed by me, the team and the Uniko community.

Colourful Gerbera Throwback 🌸

Today I am sharing another card we made at one of the May Uniko Stamping Retreats. I originally made this first Pure Florals Gerbera card in August 2012.

Back then I used Papertrey Ink colours, I loved these inks back in the day. And the sentiment is from a retired Uniko stamp set called Fontiments.

The 2nd and 3rd photos are my remake card.

This time I used Concord & 9th inks in Honeysuckle, Oceanside and Buttercup. I also used a stamping platform so I could add a little highlighting to the flower centres using Spiced Cider which I dabbed onto the stamp using a dauber.

My trio of panels are slightly larger too, this was a good choice as I could stamp more of the flower. My sentiment choice is from Floral Vines.

It was fun recreating an older card. Especially with the advancement of paper crafting tools, I didn’t have a stamping platform back in 2012. Plus, I’ve learned some fun techniques over the years too.
