This is from last year but the message remains the same! Support them or loose them.
The large companies are getting richer and richer and the small local businesses are getting poorer and poorer.
If you spend your money in a local business, the owner is much more likely to put that money back into the local economy by going into local pubs and restaurants etc, as well as using other local businesses within their business, thus circulating the money and allowing Teesside to thrive 🌿
When you spend money in chains or multinational corporations, the money most likely flies down to London or another country altogether, creating no positive ripple effect for the local economy.
More money in Teesside also means more job💡
