🎉 There's plenty happening in the Stockton Town Centre today! 🎉

Come along from 10am till 2pm and enjoy FREE crafts and ice cream for the family. We've also got the MFC Foundation with us, take a shot on their inflatable goal or benefit from a free health check, all whilst soaking up the fantastic atmosphere as we celebrate the opening of the new Urban Park! 🌳🍦🎨

With activities, entertainment and lots to see and do, it's a great day to visit the town centre and be part of the celebrations.

And if you're feeling peckish our friends over at The Shambles Café are open until 8pm, so why not stay a little longer and enjoy a bite to eat? ☕🍰

We need your help!

Every year, we are proud to support the Royal British Legion - Stockton & Yarm Branch.

This year, we'd like to do something a little different and add to the wonderful Remembrance Day window display that the branch create each year.

If you, a family member, friend or someone you know enjoys knitting or crocheting, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you're an experienced crafter of simply enjoy creating in your spare time, your support could help make this year's display extra special.

*** GETTING TO STOCKTON WATERFRONT URBAN PARK AND WHERE TO PARK ***

🌳 Wondering where to park for the fantastic Armed Forces Day celebrations or want to visit the Stockton Waterfront urban park this weekend (20 and 21 June)? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

👍 We encourage our visitors to choose low-carbon, healthy transport options, and recommend walking or using public transport where possible.

🔗 You can visit https://teesvalley-ca.gov.uk/travel/ to help you find the best options for your journey.

🚌 Buses: Stockton Town Centre is well served by buses from across the Tees Valley. Visit https://teesvalley-ca.gov.uk/travel/bus/ to see bus timetables.

🚆 Train: Stockton Train Station is a five-minute walk from the town centre (0.5 miles). Thornaby Train Station is just across the river, a 15-minute walk to the town centre (0.8miles) and there are frequent buses from outside the station as well as a taxi rank.

🚗 Driving: If you are driving, below is a map of all the car parks that will be open during the celebrations in Stockton Town Centre, all within easy walking distance. Please be aware of any charges or restrictions if using a private car park.

‼️ Please also note that the upper deck of the Wellington Square car park will be closed this weekend due to ongoing essential maintenance works.
