I keep asking people to post their fur babies on a sunday. well here's mine 🤣😞 he's not 100% happy with me. i don't know if that's the pink vest or THE vest 🤣🫣.

He's 12 and has sebaceous adenoma (old age lumps) that he's knocked the skin off. It's clean and dry but while it's properly drying and he's playing in the garden he's gets to wear a vest (in the place of a vet suit)

Before anyone preaches I know it needs to dry out he literally wears this an hour or two after cleaning before it's off and in the wash.

Anyone got a dog that DOES like to dress up

We closed early yesterday for some much-needed family time — my great-niece’s 7th birthday party, followed by my oldest grandson’s boxing match in North Shields. 🥊🎂

Now I’m tucked up in bed fixing the SEO on my website! 😂💻

Well… today definitely didn’t go to plan! 😂

I’m finally back in the shop, but getting here was a bit of an adventure.

I got to work and realised I’d forgotten my laptop… so I walked all the way home to get it and then walked back again. 🤦‍♀️😂

By the time I got back I was hot, bothered, hair tied up and desperately trying to catch my breath — so I thought, you know what? This is me today. 😂

No perfect hair.
No perfectly put-together business owner.
Just me.

Yesterday I made the decision to close the shop because sometimes things get too much and you have to step back and look after yourself.

Today I didn’t particularly want to come back.

But I’m here.

And I think that’s something I’m learning through all of this…

Life gets messy. Business gets messy. Some days are hard. Some days you question everything.

But if we want things to change, if we want to build something better, sometimes we just have to take a breath, pick ourselves up and keep showing up.

I’m not pretending everything is perfect because it absolutely isn’t.

I’m just choosing to keep going. ❤️

So… the laptop is here, I’ve caught my breath, the hair is staying tied up 😂 and Pepper Place is finally OPEN!
