Not often I post action shots on here

But I do like this one with my 'Boris'

It is of course an ESP Kirk Hammett 'Mummy' replica

Equipped with Fleor Double Rail Humbucker pickups, CTS volume and tone pots, professional grade wiring, an upgraded locking nut and Floyd Rose locking tremolo unit, and a puretone multi contact output jack, and equipped with 10-46 Ernie Ball strings

And it plays like butter 🥰

Do you remember me saying that there was a big surprise coming up?

Well, here we have it!

So, the other week, my bandmate and close pal Andy Pancheri of Blindsided and The Variants purchased this fantastic Jackson JS32

He brought it to me for some upgrades and a set up

So I've put in........

* A Gotoh Locking Tremolo System
* A CTS volume pot
* Professional grade wiring
* A Puretone multi-contact output jack
* Iron Gear Metal Machine Pickups
* Ernie Ball 10-46 gauge strings

This thing is an absolute shredder!

Hey folks!

I have finally finished with Boris

And he is now HOPEFULLY gig ready for next week's show with Blindsided

So it's a case of out with the old and in with the new

He's had......

New CTS pots installed with professional grade wiring
A new Floyd Rose Tremolo installed, kindly donated to me by Mike Wood Custom Guitars
A good clean and some new 10-46 Ernie Ball Strings

Ready to shred!

So today in the workshop, we have my beloved Boris in, my Kirk Hammett 'Mummy' replica

In for some MUCH needed upgrades, so I'm getting rid of the stock tremolo unit and putting a brand new one in

And he's going to have some new pots and wiring too

Just had a lovely experience at Tenpin in Festival Park

One of the members of staff mentioned that she plays guitar, I told her that I'm a guitar tech so if she ever needs any work doing, then to get in touch

She then tells me that she recognised my name on their booking system and that I have been recommended to her! 😃

There's no better feeling than that!
