🕯️ THE OUIJANCE EXPERIMENT
Where Séance meets Spirit Board — two traditional methods combined into one unique experiment.
The Ouijance Experiment is a specially designed paranormal experience that brings together two distinct investigative practices the traditional séance and the spirit board and combines them into one continuous experiment built around connection, concentration, energy and communication.
Rather than conducting the two experiments separately, participants become part of a six-person energy circle, creating a shared point of focus around the table.
🕯️ The Energy Circle
Six participants sit around the table, forming a complete circle of connection.
In front of each participant is a small lit candle, positioned between the individual spirit boards. The candlelight becomes the central visual focus of the experiment a simple source of light surrounded by darkness.
Participants are encouraged to concentrate on the flame, the atmosphere around them and the connection being created between everyone within the circle.
The concept is that six individuals become one collective circle, with each person contributing their attention, intention and energy to the experiment.
👁️ The Séance Element
The experience begins with traditional séance style techniques.
The room is brought into darkness apart from the carefully positioned candlelight. Participants are encouraged to remain still and focused while the group conducts a series of controlled séance procedures.
Questions may be directed into the room, allowing participants to listen for changes in the environment, unexplained sounds, sensations or other unusual occurrences.
The emphasis is on silence, concentration and observation rather than simply waiting for something to happen.
🔮 The Spirit Board Element
The experiment then introduces the spirit boards.
Instead of one board being used by the entire group, the six participants interact with boards positioned around the circle.
Hands are placed upon the planchettes, creating physical points of connection between neighbouring participants.
The group then begins a structured series of questions.
Any movement of the planchettes is observed and documented rather than immediately interpreted. The purpose is to establish whether meaningful patterns, responses or movements appear during the experiment.
🕯️ The Power of the Flame
The candles become an important part of the experiment.
Each flame represents an individual participant, while the collection of six flames represents the energy circle as a whole.
Participants are encouraged to watch their candle throughout the experiment and record anything they believe changes movement of the flame, fluctuations, extinguishing, unusual shadows or other observations.
The candle therefore becomes more than simply atmospheric lighting.
It becomes a visual reference point throughout the experiment.
🔮 When Two Experiments Become One
The unique element of The Ouijance Experiment is the transition between the two methods.
The séance creates the atmosphere of communication.
The spirit boards create a physical mechanism through which communication may potentially be expressed.
The candle circle creates the visual and psychological centre connecting the two.
Three elements. One experiment. One circle. One shared focus.
The group moves between periods of complete silence, séance questioning and spirit-board interaction, creating a constantly changing experimental environment.
👁️ The Sixfold Connection
With six participants surrounding the table, every person becomes part of the circle.
Each participant has a role.
Each person contributes to the collective focus.
And every movement, sound, candle fluctuation or apparent response becomes something that can be observed by the entire group.
The experiment is designed so that no single participant is isolated from the experience.
Everyone is connected to the circle.
Everyone is watching.
Everyone is listening.
And everyone becomes part of the experiment.
