This is probably my favourite part of a workshop 🥰

That moment when everyone’s got clay in their hands, I’m wandering around the tables, demonstrating bits, fixing the occasional wonky leg 😂 and helping turn an idea into something they’re genuinely proud of.

You absolutely do not need to be creative or “good at art” to come to an HSL Pottery workshop. That’s what I’m there for.

I’ll show you what to do, step by step, help when you need it… and leave you to enjoy yourself when you don’t.

Just good company, a lump of clay and a couple of hours doing something completely different.

🏺 A little bit of clay, a lot of Stoke-on-Trent heritage! ❤️

I had such a lovely morning at the Mitchell Arts Centre today, leading a special tile-making workshop as part of their celebrations looking towards 70 years of the MAC.

We used clay to explore the past, present and future of this brilliant venue — from Reginald Mitchell and the Spitfire to community, creativity and what reaching for the sky means today.

A huge thank you to everyone who got stuck in, and especially to Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Chris Robinson, and Gareth Snell MP for joining us and getting their hands on the clay too! 🥰

I absolutely love being involved in projects like this — making something new in a city with such an incredible clay heritage. ❤️

🦊 What a brilliant night of fox making! 🦊

Last night at Memories Are Made was all about these gorgeous little characters — and I absolutely love how different every single one turned out! 😍

Same clay, same instructions… completely different personalities. That’s one of my favourite things about these workshops.

They’re now heading back to the studio for drying, firing and finishing before making their way back to Memories Are Made. 🔥

Thank you to everyone who came along — such a lovely, relaxed and very creative evening. 🧡
