🧵 WOULD YOU LIKE TO TEST THE HAWKSMOOR WEEKENDER?
My new pattern, the Hawksmoor Weekender is ready for testing, and I'm looking for a few more lovely bag makers to join the testing team.
The Hawksmoor Weekender is a modern, structured weekender bag made using a 16" metal tubular frame, with the option to use either rivet-on leather handles or sew-on handles.
You don't need to have tested a pattern before. I'm looking for confident bag makers who are comfortable following a detailed bag pattern and happy to give honest feedback as they sew.
I'll set up a private Facebook group for the testing team, where we can ask questions, discuss the pattern and flag any amendments or typos along the way.
I'm looking for testers who:-
are confident and experienced bag makers
can complete their Hawksmoor by Monday 12 October
are happy to follow the pattern as written and give constructive feedback
are active on Facebook and/or Instagram and regularly share their sewing
can take clear, well-presented photos of their finished Hawksmoor
are happy to share their finished bag on social media when Hawksmoor launches
are happy for Bobbin Girl to use photographs of their finished bag to help promote the pattern

I'll choose the testing team after the weekend, and the testing period will run until Monday 12 October. Your finished Hawksmoor will need to be completed by then, so please only apply if you're confident you can make the bag within the 10-day testing period
