If you're a collector, there's a good chance you already know Eddie from The Hobby Wizards. If you don't... you're missing out!

Eddie's been trading in the Market for a couple of years, but has been in the hobby trade for over 2 decades.

At The Hobby Wizards, you'll find collectible cards, board games, Warhammer, model painting, pop culture items and plenty for younger visitors too, including Squishies and My Little Pony. If you can collect it, Eddie probably has it! 😂

When we asked Eddie what he likes about trading at Hanley Indoor Market, it came down to what the market offers. Places to grab some food, toilets on site, but most importantly, passionate people who genuinely care about what they do.

From traditional favourites to locally produced food, our traders have plenty of British food and produce to choose from.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of British Food Fortnight, which runs from 26 September to 11 October.

So why not celebrate by supporting a local trader and picking up one of your British favourites?

Meet Setareh, a talented 19-year-old self-taught artist with a passion for painting, drawing and visual storytelling.

Setareh created this portrait of Clarice Cliff especially for Hanley Indoor Market, completing the entire painting freehand.

Clarice Cliff's work is such an important part of Hanley's history and pottery heritage, making this a lovely piece to have here at the market.

We think she's done a brilliant job!

💬 Meet our trader: Michelle

If you’ve spent any time around Hanley Indoor Market, there’s a good chance you’ve come across Michelle from Michelle’s Deli.

Michelle has worked in the market for an incredible 30 years, since the age of 15! That’s a lot of time spent getting to know the customers and becoming one of the familiar faces around the market.

So what’s popular at the deli? According to Michelle, “everything is popular!”

But when we asked Michelle what she loves most about being at the market, her answer was simple: the customers. She loves seeing her regulars and meeting new faces.

❤️ And judging by how many people know Michelle, we’d say the feeling is definitely mutual!
