We provide social companionship and support for older people to get out and about to places, groups or activities of their choice. It may be that you are a main carer needing some valuable "me time" Hands that Help can provide that much needed break for you leaving the person you care for in safe hands. It may be that you work long hours or live quite a dis
tance away from a family member and don't get to visit as often as you would like, Hands that Help can give you peace of mind that trustworthy, experienced and reliable professionals are spending time with the people you love. Hands that Help can spend time with you if you feel lonely or isolated, even in your own home, sometimes just a chat over a cuppa is as nice as going out!!! Errands/Concierge Services (not just for older people) -
Hire us to do your shopping, parcel pick up/drop off, collect your dry cleaning or have your keys cut. Keep watch over you home while you are on holiday, we can lift your mail, open/close blinds, feed the cat and empty the litter tray, water the plants and even stock you fridge and put on the heating for your return. Help you to book your holiday or weekend accommodation. Do light house work, DIY or gardening. Help you de clutter rooms/cupboards or pack for a house move. Teach basic computer/internet skills as well as SKYPE opening up a whole new world to you. This list is endless and the above are just some examples of what we can do for you, just let us know your requirements and we will do our upmost to help!!!! Hands that Help have full insurance and staff are all disclosure Scotland certified. Prices are £8 for a half hour and £15 for an hour. Fuel charge is 45p per mile outwith a 5 mile mile radius from our base in Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire and 45p per mile when clients are using the company car for outings. The client is responsible for any expenses incurred for social outings. Hands that Help will not provide nursing or personal care.
