Had such a lovely visit to Baby Basics Leicester today 🩷💙

Not only did i drop off all these books (thank you to everyone who donated including Impact Retail Meridian) i also delivered a huge bag of cosmetics for Mums and Babies (thank you Alex Windram) and....

Whilst I was there I spotted one of the volunteers who i recognised. It took me a couple of minutes then the penny dropped and I couldn't believe it....

It was the incredible Lesley who was my Midwife when i had my first Daughter 25 years ago 🥰

It literally made my day 😊

If you would like to make a donation to provide new books to support new babies and their development, please click on the link below 👇

Baby Basics are just wonderful and they make such an amazing difference to 1000's of families right here in Leicester 💛

I am SUPER EXCITED!!! 👏👏

Our very own children's author, West end actress, star of stage show "Horrible Histories"
and BBC's "Dr Who" Emma Swan is coming to Leicestershire!! 🥳🥳

Emma will be visiting two of my wonderful schools Sherrier C of E Primary School and St Mary's CE Primary School, Bitteswell in November!

The children will be jumping on board with Silver, the Cruise Ship Kid!!

In this special visit, Emma will reveal what life was like at sea ( as she grew up on a Cruise Ship) and how it felt to be a mini crew member, in her cabin, at the bottom of the ship 🛳

The interactive elements in ‘Cruise Ship Kid’ will be packed into the event with magazine-style quizzes, games, songs and maybe a couple of interruptions from Silver herself!

It’s ‘shore’ to be a good time! 😉
