🎨 We're a third of the way there! ❤️

The Boundless Creativity fundraiser has now reached 32% of its goal, which means we've already cleared almost a third of the remaining costs from making the festival happen.

That's a huge milestone, and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, shared the fundraiser, sent messages or simply believed in what we're trying to create. ❤️

There is still a ways to go, so if you've been meaning to donate or share the fundraiser, I'd be incredibly grateful for your support.

Made this cute windchime sun catcher yesterday and I love how its catching the sun and casting rainbows across the studio! 🌈

Just to let you all know, we will be closing around 2.30 today as we have plans to take the kids out later on 🎳

✨ Another lovely Craft, Chat & Chill live over in the Sakura Creative Community group last night! 💕

I made some more progress on my latest project, and it was so lovely to see so many familiar faces popping up in the comments for a chat while we crafted together.

We had a very productive day yesterday ✨️
Lots of photos taken of new work including my handmade wire bangles, lovely fused glass jewellery by Bev Montague, and some fresh photos of the chunky bracelets from Silver with Frills (plus I have more to take later of the lovely jewellery pieces that Viv brought me during her last visit!)

Speaking of Viv and Silver with Frills... We are very much looking forward to having her in this morning for one of her Silver Clay Taster sessions! 💕

🌳 Back to my roots... quite literally! 💚

I spent a little time today starting a new wire tree, and it felt so lovely to revisit something I haven't made in such a long time.

When I first opened Sakura Studio Gallery, I had a couple of large free standing wire tree sculptures on display that i had made. Then one day Ruth from Stone Rose Crystals asked if I could wire wrap a crystal for a customer... and the rest, as they say, is history!

Since then, wire wrapping has become such a huge part of what I do. I've spent the last few years refining my techniques, learning new styles, creating jewellery and even teaching it as one of our most popular workshops.

So today felt a little nostalgic. 💕

It's funny how our creative journeys evolve, but sometimes it's nice to revisit where they all began. I don't think this will be my last tree... 🌳✨
