Just one week to go till our event with Kate Nicholas Author which we are very much looking forward to! 😊
The evening starts at 7.30pm at the MA Hall, just beside the church on Kenneth Street.
Katie's topic is God's Faithfulness Through Cancer. There will be a stall with copies of Kate's books for sale too.
We will also be hearing from Caroline at Western Isles Cancer Care Initiative about their work.
Do come along if you are able.

It was a pleasure to be re acquainted with Kate Nicholas Author last week at CRT. All being well, Kate is going to be in Stornoway on 2 October for a special evening organised by Stornoway Christian Bookshop. Kate will speak about her cancer journey and the books she has written on the subject of cancer and faith.
Please come along and bring a friend.
We will be at the MA Hall (beside Free Church, Kenneth Street) at 7.30pm.
WICCI will also be joining us.

One of our main suppliers are Christian Focus and these 2 gentlemen are always very helpful!
Julian Gittings used to come to Stornoway as a rep for Crossway and IVP before he moved to Christian Focus so we have known him for a long time.
Donnie Morrison, a born and bred Lewisman, lives locally so we get to see him quite often as he pops in to the Shop to show us new titles, or just to say hello!

You never know who you'll bump into at CRT!
Some of you will remember Ally MacLean from Back who moved to Northern Ireland with his wife Lisa and their family about 5 years ago. He worked at the Crofters shop in Stornoway.
He now works with the Faith Mission Bookshops. It was great to catch up and also, to meet Mark Conroy from the Belfast fm shop.
Mark won an award last night at the CRT Awards ceremony for his service to the Trade. Big congratulations to him. 😊

Once again it's CRT time - the annual Christian retailers, publishers and authors get together in Derbyshire . 😊
We spent the night in Stratford upon Avon and had a walk about today. Very picturesque, and the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
Now motoring up the M1 towards Swanwick, where the Hayes Conference Centre is situated. The event starts tomorrow morning so more photos to follow. 😊
