Welcome to Workbench Wednesday! đź–¤

Although Hootsbag HQ is gradually becoming my main business base, plenty of the actual making still happens at home—usually surrounded by moulds, pigments and a considerable amount of creative chaos! 🤣

Here’s a glimpse of this latest eco-resin casting session, followed by the pieces after they had been demoulded and carefully sanded.

The sleeping cats are part of a special wholesale order, while the remaining pieces will be sealed, hand-painted where needed and taken to Hootsbag HQ ready for opening.

Every piece is individually cast and finished by hand, which means the marbled designs are completely unique.

Welcome to Workbench Wednesday! đź–¤

Today is a rather special day… Hootsbag Curiosities is going LIVE from Hootsbag HQ for the very first time! 🧡🖤🌙

Join me on Whatnot today from 4:30pm for new stock, handmade creations, candles, incense, curious little treasures and plenty more.

Come and have a nose, say hello and help me christen the new HQ! There will also be a little giveaway for my beautiful buyers 🥰

The beginnings of Hootsbag HQ 🗝️✨

It’s still very much a work in progress—there are boxes everywhere, shelves still being organised and a to-do list that seems to grow faster than I can complete it 🤣 But it’s already come such a long way!

This little space will be where I create, pack your orders, host my Whatnot Lives and fill the shelves with handmade creations, gifts and all things wonderfully witchy, spooky and unusual.

Monday will be my very first Whatnot Live from the new HQ, which feels like another huge milestone 🙌

I’m also hoping to open Hootsbag HQ to the public on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons very soon. The official opening date, times and full details will be announced separately once everything is confirmed 👀

🔑 IT’S OFFICIAL… HOOTSBAG HQ HAS A HOME! 🧡🌙

Today was moving day!

With a van full of furniture and stock and my most wonderful family helping - Hootsbag gifts and Hootsbag Curiosities have officially started moving into their new home.

Right now, it looks like boxes, mismatched furniture and beautiful chaos… because this is what the real first day of a small business move looks like! Over the next few days, I’ll be turning this space into my studio, stockroom, packing area, Whatnot live-show space and a little shop area.

Once everything is ready, Hootsbag HQ will open to the public for a couple of days or afternoons each week. You’ll be able to come in, browse and discover handmade gifts alongside the witchy, spooky, alternative and unusual treasures from Hootsbag Curiosities.

This is such a huge step for my little business. I’m excited, proud and slightly overwhelmed, but I’ve felt so much love and support today that my heart is incredibly full.
