🎹 Part II begins!

Chetham’s International Piano Summer School 2026 is now into its second week, with Part II getting underway today.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the Summer School brings together pianists of all ages and abilities for a packed programme of recitals, lectures, open lessons and opportunities to learn from some of the world’s leading pianists and teachers.

Broughton Pianos are proud to support this year’s Summer School.

We had an absolutely brilliant night at the 2026 Birmingham Chinese New Year Celebration Gala on Sunday. It was a wonderful celebration as Birmingham welcomed the Year of the Horse, a symbol of energy, strength and good fortune.

We were delighted to be there alongside Richard Parker, Mayor of the West Midlands, and Councillor Zaker Choudhry, Lord Mayor of Birmingham.

Big congratulations to our piano technician Iain, who walked away with a lucky money cat (招财猫 zhaocai mao), a traditional Chinese symbol said to bring prosperity and good luck.
