Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Tim Holt, Director of Barbadillo Sherry, for an exceptional staff training and tasting session.

Based in the sherry capital of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Tim’s knowledge of Sherry is second to none, and it was a privilege to spend the morning exploring one of Spain’s most fascinating wine regions through his guidance.

From Manzanilla, to Oloroso, and much more - we tasted our way through an incredible range of styles. We also delved into the character of En Rama bottlings, compared dry and sweet expressions, and discovered several wines that were completely new to us.

A huge thank you to Tim for sharing his expertise and passion. Days like these are invaluable, helping us deepen our knowledge so we can better share these remarkable wines with our customers.

After much anticipation, the 100 Proof version of Sazerac Straight Rye has finally arrived in the UK, and we're delighted to have got our hands on an exclusive single barrel for Nickolls & Perks.

The Sazerac name traces its origins to the Sazerac Coffee House in New Orleans, the birthplace of the iconic Sazerac cocktail. In 1869, Thomas H. Handy took the reins of the famous establishment, which soon became synonymous with the celebrated serve. Originally made with Cognac, the cocktail would later embrace rye whiskey, helping to cement its place in American whiskey history.

Today, Sazerac Straight Rye is produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky alongside renowned brands including Pappy Van Winkle, Colonel E.H. Taylor, Eagle Rare and Weller. This exclusive single barrel showcases the bold spice, rich character and exceptional quality that have made Sazerac Rye a favourite among whiskey enthusiasts.

That's not all - we are excited to be releasing a single barrel of Weller Antique 107 in the coming weeks. Customers who purchase our Sazerac 100 Proof single barrel will be given early access.
