Bordeaux, Champagne, Vintage Port & Whisky are our main specialist areas which we are heavily passionate towards. in addition to these we also stock a huge range of other wines from around the world featuring many different grape varieties. Whilst whisky is a massive interest of ours, we're committed in bringing you many other spirits from across the globe. Gin, Vodka, Tequila, Rum, Cognac and Liqueurs are products we are dedicated in bringing you. Thousands of these tasty items can be ordered on our website at any given time, with worldwide shipping available. Dating from the 16th century, our sizeable sandstone cellars in England house thousands of bottles of Fine Wines, port and champagne, maturing in ideal conditions.

We’re delighted to welcome The Borders Distillery to our shelves, starting with their inaugural single malt release.

Distilled in Hawick using barley grown across 10 local farms in the Scottish Borders and water drawn from the distillery’s own source beneath the site, this wh**ky is a true reflection of its home.

Matured for eight years, initially in first-fill bourbon casks before being finished in Malmsey Madeira casks, it’s bottled at 46% ABV. Described by Charles MacLean as “easy-drinking and more-ish” and we couldn’t agree more!

Alongside The First Release, we also have a selection of bottlings from the distillery’s Workshop Series. These experimental blends are all about exploring what wh**ky can be, pushing the boundaries of tradition through flavour, cask influence and creativity.

A brilliant new addition to the Nickolls & Perks range and one we’re very excited to have on the shelves.

A cask strength single malt release from our friend Richard at Retribution Distilling in Somerset, released exclusively for the Nickolls & Perks Midlands Wh**ky Festival.

Made with 100% Maris Otter barley from Warminster Maltings, Richard initially matured this wh**ky in Chestnut octave casks for 13 months, then transferred the wh**ky into a second-fill ex-bourbon quarter cask for 23 months, which happened to be cask number 1 - aka the first cask filled at the distillery!

This is a tiny release of just 24 bottles. We might also have a sample available in the shop.

A great afternoon with Mark Wisnovsky, President of Valley View Winery in Oregon, who joined our w**e team to taste through a selection of the estate’s w**es.

Founded in 1972, Valley View is one of Oregon’s pioneering w**eries, with a long history of exploring the potential of the Rogue Valley and its distinctive climate. Mark took us through a fascinating line-up, from Chardonnay and Orange Viognier to several expressions of Pinot Noir and finally Syrah, showcasing the variety and character that can be found across the estate.

We always value the opportunity to spend time with the people behind the w**es we sell, gaining a deeper understanding of their vineyards, w**emaking and philosophy, and bringing that knowledge back to our customers.

Jerome introduces our Glengoyne English Merchant’s Choice single cask release.

The last time Glengoyne organised an English Merchant’s Choice was in 2010, when David Gardener was part of the cask selection from Nickolls & Perks. We were honoured to invited up to the distillery in March to be part of this project again more than 15 years later. This single cask Glengoyne was matured in a first-fill European oak sherry cask for no less than 12 years. Cask number 969 yielded just 285 bottles and was split between Nickolls & Perks and three other UK merchants.

Notes of rich chocolate hazelnut croissant and butterscotch, with warming clove and gingerbread. On the palate, there’s sweet tarte Tatin and red apple layered with brioche and spice. Dark chocolate, sultanas and a touch of oloroso.

Launched at Midlands Wh**ky Festival last weekend, it’s no surprise this wh**ky has been extremely well received so far.

We’re delighted to reveal these two exciting new releases to celebrate 10 years of Midlands Wh**ky Festival in Birmingham.

Glengoyne 12 Year Old 2014 First-Fill European Oak Sherry (Cask 969) - Merchant’s Choice 58.5%

Earlier this year we were invited to visit Glengoyne to help select the next single cask as part of the English Merchant’s Choice label. Something Nickolls & Perks were part of over 10 years ago when Glengoyne last ran this project.

Retribution 3 Year Old Single Malt English Wh**ky (Batch PR006) - Chestnut Cask, Cask Strength 58%

From Richard Lock’s small distillery in Somerset, this wh**ky is made with 100% Maris Otter barley and matured in virgin Chestnut octave casks before being finished in a second fill quarter cask, which happened to be cask number 1. Only 24 bottles produced.

We’re delighted to welcome Kate McIntyre MW of Moorooduc Estate to Nickolls & Perks this September.
Join us on Friday 25th September for an evening exploring the w**es of Moorooduc Estate and the cool-climate character of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, with Kate guiding us through a carefully selected range from the estate.

Moorooduc Estate has played a key role in establishing the Mornington Peninsula as one of Australia’s great cool-climate regions, producing w**es with elegance, precision and a real sense of place.

New in: Kilkerran 16 Year Old 2026 Release

Matured entirely in sherry casks this year, after a 60/40 sherry-to-bourbon combination in 2025, the 2026 release offers sherry-soaked fruits in abundance. We’re always very excited about the annual 16-year-old release from Kilkerran, and this year’s is no exception.

If you’re going to Midlands Wh**ky Festival 2026 this year, you’ll have the chance to taste this on their stand (and buy a bottle from the N&P shop at the festival) along with many other delights from Kilkerran and Springbank.
