I had the most wonderful and totally unexpected meeting with Beth yesterday who owns and we ended up chatting for ages about all things creative and design and gifts and workshops and vintage….which led to me taking a little trip into town to source some vintage teacups and saucers for her upcoming workshop!

I loved being given a brief, and a reason to hang out in the charity shops for a couple of hours! 😉

Beth kindly gifted me some of her beautiful flowers and instructions on how to create a compote bowl, and luckily they made it safely all the way back home on the train. I’m pretty pleased with my first attempt..using a vintage bowl I picked up on the same shopping trip 😍

I can’t wait to see the teacups being upcycled and given a new lease of life as bud vases 💕💕💕

If you’re near Crystal Palace and free on Sunday, I’d 100% recommend going over to .art place to see her incredible home/studio that she has kindly opened up as part of .crystalpalace

She has a passion for painting and collage, and as you can see from the photos, her home is like a museum full of personal collections, her own artwork and books….lots of books!!! Her walls are a giant canvas and every surface is decorated. Amazing! 😍

Just came across some photos the lovely took of me in my studio a long time ago, and this one is perfect (not least because it cuts off my head, ha! 😜) because it showcases my favourite vintage Royal Doulton mug, which I use everyday for my evening peppermint tea 💚🥰
