The beauty of trying something new, is building a new skill.

Being slightly obsessive and tunnel visioned really helps!

My first attempt, as with all new crafts , looked like I'd done "something " drove over it and reversed .. but thats where the learning, patience and care comes in.
Be kind to yourself and just take time to get better.. so I've attached pictures of my first few efforts.Un ashamed and proud. True, not great..but little steps. We all have to make them.

I've been working on Kinusaiga.. its like patchwork without the sowing...or as Google says..

Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form where colorful fabric scraps are tucked into pre-cut grooves or slits in a backing material to create a textured, mosaic-like picture—all without any sewing or glue.

Make and take You will leave with at least two sets of earrings and two necklaces. The polymer clay will be baked on site so we can construct the end pieces for you to keep or gift
I will show you how to create your own "cane" to make into jewellery.
You'll be shown techniques that will include using coloured metallic foils, alcohol inks, mica powders and fine glitters along with transparent and coloured clays
There's plenty of cutters and shapes to choose to make it unique.
I'll provide the findings (additions) to make a necklaces and earrings including the cord to string the necklaces. There will be clips and 0 rings and all the tools needed to finish your truly unique pieces.
You will leave with at least two sets of earrings and two necklaces. The polymer clay will be baked on site so we can construct the end pieces for you to keep or gift

Make and take a beautiful double petaled flower with gem center and leaves in a bud vase (also provided)

Let me show you how you can create the flowers from the simplest of materials - pipe cleaners !

I can show you how to add effects and embellishments to make your creations stand out and people wont believe you when you tell them its pipe cleaners !

You'll be shown how to make a flower like the blue one pictured. We will use a gem center and pastels to add depth. We will also use wire for the stalk and florist tape to finish. We will add leaves too to add volume and colour
We will be using a hot glue gun, if your not comfortable to do so, I'm happy to do this for you when finishing your creation.
You will leave with a completed flower in a bud vase to display at home or gift
There's also an opportunity to purchase a starter kit to make more flowers
