The Thomas Crapper high level ceramic cistern is an exact replica of the original - first made more than a century ago. Each one is hand cast in Britain from vitreous china, faithful to the period, yet built to perform as reliably as any modern cistern.

For a bathroom with genuine period character and none of the compromises, this is the fitting of choice.

Shop the entire Crapper & Company Limited collection online or contact our team on [email protected] to find out more about our bestselling brand.

A recent design, supply and install project for one of our customers: a period bathroom with some of our bestselling products at the heart of it.

The Victoria + Albert Cheshire roll-top bath stands on ball-and-claw feet, its exterior painted in Fired Earth's Smoke Blue. It's paired with a deck-mounted Burlington bath shower mixer featuring crosshead handles, white indices and a traditional plug & chain waste for an iconic, classic look.

Floor tiling is now complete on our current project, and our team have moved on to installing the fittings. First up is the iconic Thomas Crapper & Company Limited 814 high-level WC.

Our client has opted for the rich, deep forest green finish for the cistern. It will sit perfectly in this space, complemented by the handcrafted Foresters double basin vanity in dark oak, which will also be installed.

We'll be revealing more of this space very soon, so keep an eye out.

A sneak peek at this Lefroy Brooks 1900 Classic concealed dual control thermostatic valve, recently installed for one of our customers. With its traditional cross-head handles, the 1900 Classic range brings genuine period character to the bathroom while the thermostatic control underneath ensures a safe, precise and consistently comfortable shower experience.

Concealed valves like this one sit neatly behind the wall, keeping the finished look clean and uncluttered while all the technical work goes on out of sight. It's a lovely example of how classic design and modern performance can work hand in hand within a bathroom.

Larger bathrooms require just as much consideration as smaller spaces🛁

A common misconception in bathroom design is that more space means fewer challenges but in practice the opposite is often true. A larger footprint introduces its own set of considerations which all require deliberate planning to avoid the space feeling under-utilised.

We were delighted to supply our products for this gorgeous space.

When we design for smaller, more complex spaces it doesn't mean we compromise on quality and practicality. For this recent project, we incorporated a high-level toilet which frees up valuable floor & wall space while drawing the eye upward, adding a welcome sense of height. In addition, our customer chose a bold, patterned wallpaper to elevate the room with contrast and depth.
