This pen was one i made a while ago now, it's maybe not the prettiest of pens being made from oak and plywood, but its made from an old writing desk, one which was unfortunately going to end up in the skip due to a downsizing move. Said desk had been used to draft many articles, a questionable sitcom script and some pages of a novel. So this pen was made from that desk, to hopefully provide inspiration from memory for future best sellers, headline breaking news articles and the next Gavin and Stacey!.... more than likely though it'll just write next week's shopping list!!! 🤣🤣🤣

You saw it being turned, you saw it being burned and now here it is, in all its finished beauty! It didn't turn out exactly how I planned, that's often the case, but it has a character and beauty all of its own.

Made from a small scrap of oak, textured, burnt and finished with a high gloss wax, sure to get noticed hanging from your gear!
