Another stunning burl elm walking stick handle done 🌳🔥 The grain, the twists, the natural character… every turn shows something different. Hard to stop staring at wood like this when nature does all the artwork 😍
Now the real question… should I mount this beauty on a blackthorn shaft? 🍀🖤 I think the contrast could look incredible, but what would you choose?

🌿🖤 Something a little different from the workshop this time… a dark and mysterious ash walking stick from our Druid Range, full of character and old-world charm.
Featuring a beautifully shaped curved grip, this one feels like it belongs in the hand of an old storyteller, woodland wanderer… or someone who just likes looking far more important on their daily walk 😄
Finished in deep, rich tones to bring out the natural beauty of the ash, this stick has a real presence about it — strong, striking, and packed with personality.

🌿⚡ Fresh from the Druid Collection ⚡🌿
This authentic Irish oak shillelagh just earned its official badge of honour 🍀 I took it out for a proper test run this morning and decided it had more than earned its Irish Walking Stick badge.
Standing just over 41 inches tall, this piece has that timeless rugged character only real Irish oak can bring, strong, full of history, and ready for many miles of adventure.
Now the question is… if this was yours, would you leave it as it is or add anything more to it? 🤔 Maybe a carving, leather wrap, or keep it proudly traditional?

This Irish blackthorn is off to the USA 🇺🇸. I told it to behave itself but you know how these sticks get when they travel🤣

One night I was on the Guinness after a long day in the workshop.
You know the way you stare into a pint and start seeing shapes, ideas, maybe even life advice you didn’t ask for.
White head… dark bottom.
And suddenly I thought, that’s it. That’s the next stick.

Next morning I wasn’t sure if it was genius or just the stout talking, but I went ahead anyway.
Blackthorn shank dark as the pint itself, holly head pale and creamy like the foam on top.
A proper Guinness‑inspired walking stick.
Only in Ireland would a pint design your craft for you.

We love making pieces like this — a bit of humour, a bit of heritage, and a whole lot of character. And sure if this stick turns out half as good as that pint looked, I’ll take the credit… and let the Guinness take the blame.
Sláinte to the next mad idea.

🍀 Just look at the character in this burl elm handle… absolutely incredible.
The grain, swirls, and natural patterns hidden inside elm burl never cease to amaze me. Every angle catches the light differently and reveals something new

One of those pieces that reminds you why natural wood can never be copied. ☘️🪵

Enjoyed giving this old vintage brass duck’s head a second life 🍀

Mounted onto a heavily thorned blackthorn shank full of character, texture, and that wild traditional look that only true blackthorn carries.
The mix of aged brass and rugged Irish blackthorn worked together beautifully on this one.

Every mark and thorn tells a story — and this old duck is ready for many more miles yet. 🦆🪵☘️

There’s something special about a good piece of Irish blackthorn 👌☘️

This one is finished with a beautiful ash handle and treated with our own special oil blend to really bring out the deep colours, grain and natural patterns hidden in the wood. Every stick has its own character and this one came alive beautifully.
