We have had to make a change to running the market in Street tomorrow, after review by Street Parish Council.

We are sorry to say that tomorrow's market will NOT be running, due to the high temperatures forecast. Please see complete wording from the Parish Council here below.

Dear traders, customers and community members.

Due to the current red weather warning for extreme heat and humidity we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Street Thursday Market this week in the interest of public safety.

The forecast conditions present significant health and safety risk for traders, staff and visitors and we believe cancelling the event is the most responsible course of action.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and continued support.

We look forward to welcoming you back at the next Market under safer conditions. In the meantime, please stay safe, stay hydrated and take care.

We will be back, next Thursday, July 2nd for your regular weekly market

Plenty of great goods on offer at the market tomorrow 🙌✌️👗🦺👘

Four Seasons have a shop on the High Street selling Hunters Wellies, Barbour jackets, Mens fashion, accessories and plenty more, they have a pitch outside of their shop with us. Kev at Curb Culture has a large pitch of women's Made in Italy fashion for sale, see either him or Lee for that new Summer dress now that the weather has improved ! ☀️🫣

It's May and we have loads of great hot food as always, plus Ice-cream by Ollys Lollys. Market Thursdays are a fun day in the village, loads of people tell us they are grateful that the market is on and look forward to it. Come down, hang out, support the traders, we would love to see 20 traders here as a solid offering every week and are always on the lookout for new traders, so get in touch with either Craig or Matt on the markets team if you are interested in applying.
