I chose 3 watercolours to head to the first holiday exhibition in the Orkney Museum. All were painted on site at the Ness of Brodgar excavation. I didn't paint many watercolours due to the frequency of wind and rain.

What a delight to meet Sydney and her parents today. Turns out her mum and I share memories of a childhood neighborhood on Long Island, NY. Sydney is studying at Glasgow University and her parents surprised her by giving her my recent oil painting "Sunset at the Ring of Brodgar." What a thrill to know that my artwork will become part of Sydney 's international future! Life sure is interesting!
