Lots of lovely CDs and some tapes in our sale section today. A lost of great orchestral music as well as some choral and a bit of Agatha Christie on tape!

Fireside Bookshop are sorry to announce we will no longer be offering security updates or tech support for any of our books. You will still be able to read them, gift them, put them on a shelf, pass them on to your kids or grandkids, learn from them, lend them to a friend, fold the corner over to keep your place, explore new worlds and realities, use them to impress your new girlfriend, prop up a wonky coffee table or even recycle them.

The move means owners of Kindles released before 2013 will be unable to download new e-books.

Lovely crisp winter weather and a busy old day here at Fireside Bookshop. Looks like more rain tomorrow so you might want to stay at home with a good book, in which case you've got one hour and ten minutes to get down here and find one, better run!

Fireside's Ben is very excited to be hosting these nights up at The Prince Albert , Stroud. It's a space for people to share their original music in a supportive and inclusive environment. The first one is on Wednesday 18th of Feb. Come along and bring a song (or two)!
