The freecycle neck has had the frets pulled, been sanded back, broken screws extracted, all holes filled and the plastic dots replaced with some pretty abalone. Where the new abalone dots where 0.7mm smaller than the original black plastic dots, I've filled the gap with some ebony dust and ca glue.
Final sand, then maybe some fire?? 🔥🔥😀

Don't judge me... sometimes you just need to do what you can to get out of a hole!

Few detail pics of the guitar I built at .

Full specs are:
2 piece ash body with ash control cavity cover
Book matched 5mm quilted maple top with 45° bevel
Flamed maple bolt on neck
Ebony fretboard with 10" radius
Aluminium ring inlays and side dots
25.5" scale length
hardtail bridge
Fluence Devin Townsend signature pickups
Single volume and tone pots with push/pulls for voicing and coil tap options and three way pick up selector switch
Bone nut
Ratio tuners

The quilted maple top was stained with Crimson Guitars Stunning Stains... Royal Blue and Aquamarine.
The body and neck were finished with an open pore sprayed flashcoat.

Looks like a cracking bit of kit... and I love that you can see my blue guitar body hanging up in the window about 10 seconds in! 🤣

Thank you to EVERYBODY who's liked and commented on my updates over the last week! I've had so much fun building this guitar and I'm glad I could share my little adventure with you all!!

Wiring finished. It's a bit of a rats nest so I'll probably revisit it and tidy it up at some point.

Body chamfers sanded back to give a nice crisp line against the blue stain and the body and neck flash coated before being fixed together.
Can't get over how pretty that top looks!! 😍
