Just wanted to say that I’m taking a bit of a break from Instagram.

I’ve been thinking about it for a while, and honestly, Instagram is the one platform that makes me feel like I have to constantly post something or put up a story. Somehow it became another little thing I felt I needed to keep up with, and I just don’t really want that pressure anymore.

It brings me unnecessary worries, and if I’m being completely honest, there isn’t really much return for me from it either.

I’m genuinely so grateful for all my lovely followers though. Some of you I now know personally, and some have become my online buddies, but I really do feel like I’ve made friendly connections with so many of you over the years ❤️

A few months ago I started selling on Vinted, which is going really well, and I still have my eBay and Vestiaire Collective accounts too. So I’m definitely not disappearing!

I’m just taking one unnecessary demand off my shoulders. I never wanted a big business anyway. I’m much happier keeping things at a hobby level — something I can manage myself, without feeling committed to it all the time. It still gives me a good income, but more importantly, it gives me freedom.

And I think that’s what I want to keep.

Instagram just isn’t really the platform I want to be on at the moment, and I’m quite happy to take a step back from it.
