New upcycle workshop!
Sunday 16th August 2-5pm - £30

Come along and block print on an item of clothing that needs a new lease of life.
Could be a Lino print or a poly print.
I haven't worn these jeans for ages so adding some floral and veg designs feels good and I'll wear them again! 🫜🍅
My linen top has had a glow up with a Lino block design of a sun🌞🌞🌞

I've got my first weekend away since I opened the shop! I'm off to a festival with friends in the sunshine🥳🥳🥳

Had to make a dress for the occasion, so I made the by paradise patterns in our lush yellow bubble linen.
Also thought the .and.yarn apothecary pocket would be ideal for festival dancing so made it out of some scraps and our Merchant & Mills vintage wash chambray.

Beautiful new sewing tools in the shop today.
Laura ter Kuile makes these tools in her studio in Cornwall.
Treat your sewing room to these gorgeous items, each one unique!
I have point turners, Hera markers, clappers, magnetic pin holders, the sleeve press and tailors ham.
Handmade from hard wood that would otherwise be burnt or end up in landfill.
The tailors ham and sleeve press are filled with sawdust from the studio (leaving no waste) and give them a sniff and you'll notice lavender too! 🪻🪻🪻

Come and see the Red Dress: community stitch project. 🙌🙌1st July preview event at The Fold. It will be on display in the shop from 10am - 6.30pm so drop in, join me for a glass of bubbly and celebrate it’s beauty. 😍

Yes I have finally finished stitching it together. Sorry it took so long🫣Thank you to Karen Fanstone for helping me get started when I was feeling overwhelmed.
For those of you who are unaware the project was a celebration of Kirstie Macleod ‘s powerful Kirstie Macleod coming to Stroud in November. I invited the local community to stitch artwork representing the dress’s amazing journey and its power to connect people across cultures.
Over 60 people embroidered and embellished panels and they are now a large quilt! ❤️
Thanks to everyone who got involved. Too many to tag everyone here, but everyone will be credited in the display. Thanks to .davenport who supported students from SGS College , craft groups like peaceandcraft ☆annajane☆, Quickthorn - Independent Publisher for initially inviting me to be part of the event in November.
