This September has been challenging for a number of reasons, but amidst the chaos our numbers have been quietly ticking up, thanks to a wonderful giveaway we’ve been part of with Milo & Ellie 🌾🤎. I try not to give too much importance to this little app, but this has given me a boost when it was much needed. We celebrated with this black velvet cake, made immeasurably better by my 4yo.

Much to look forward to in the next two weeks, with our Christmas shoot at the_white_hart_inn_, the Five Valleys Walk and a food writing course with Ella Risbridger and Kate Young. Here’s to a better October 🍂 🍁

Supermarket w**e? No, thank you. You deserve better 🍷 UK w**e has come a long way and we’re here to celebrate the independent makers putting the South West on the map. From traditional sparkling w**e to a skin fermented Pet Nat, we’ve got something for every taste. Available in our hampers and Build Your Own.

A silky texture and rich cherry and blackcurrant notes, this Pinot Noir variety is made in small batches on the hills of the Cotswolds.

Near the border of Oxfordshire lives an urban w**ery under the stewardship of Gavin Carver, who sources the best grapes from Kent to make this seriously drinkable Pink Pinot Noir. Full bodied and creamy, it pairs wonderfully with food.

We scoured the region to find natural w**es and were not disappointed! This lightly sparkling Pet Nat is made from a blend of white grapes and is fermented skins on with no added sugars or sulphites, giving it the characteristic amber tones of a Pet Nat.

For something traditional, look no further than the award winning Cotswolds Classic brut from Woodchester Valley. The kind of fizz that feels like an occasion.
