A very busy day today on sales has necessitated yet another rearrangement of the retail space at DBG.

That's a wrap on another relaxing Sunday "off"...!
Half a day spent lugging all the stock taken to tabletop sale at Pete's AGF from the car to the unit, rebuilding all our retail displays, displaying pellet restock, checking all the rifles and pistols have retained their correct labels and replacing the inevitable missing and lost ones, and wiping all the steel metalwork down...phew🥵🥵🥵!
It's glamorous work, this..🤣🤣

Here's an interesting issue:

This is why you shouldn't hammer out seized Airsporter/Mercury pistons..! - We never do, we have better solutions.

It is possible to "stretch" the rear of the c**king slot in the piston just enough that the sear contact becomes "questionable".

At which point the gun can fire by itself, or fail to c**k at all.

If it fires by itself, it's possible for it to do this to a steel "export" head. Every day is a school day!

I have been working on these guns for 4 decades, but still learning...!

Our workshops are back in full swing..!

Here we have a CO2 rifle, and a P*P resealed and ready to go home, another P*P leak down tested and ready for seal replacement on Monday and another Mercury partway through refinishing and construction.

If anyone out there has any Mercury stocks or actions or main parts spare, please get in touch, I now have more XL barrels than guns to fit them to!

There are lots of jobs waiting for bench space next week, but we always welcome more!
