Lady Gothikat Designs Handcrafted Artisan Jewellery to die for !! Show your love any special occasion, just because ... or It’s a Hobby?? It’s a business?? Where to draw that line?

Hello, I made my first piece of jewellery in my childhood, it was my pets, Mini’s first jewellery set; tiny acrylic pearls necklace and bracelet for the most fashionable and beautiful hamster girl than ever lived. Always had a love for making bracelets, and trying different stuff for myself and at some point someone asked me to make her some like the ones I was wearing, so that was my first commis

sion, so I never took it to seriously until I had the chance to share a stall in a touristic area, not for long but enough to make me fall so much in Iove with it!! Years later (and far away) I was missing it so much that I did consider to start again. So I did open my Etsy shop just as a trial; missing the time I used to have that stall that I always loved gave me the final push, so here I am. Really never made an effort with my Etsy shop, but now due to COVID has been really difficult for me, between updating my shop and selling. I guess is kind of both, at least
I am trying to merge them together!! Take a look, just for fun, hope you like my pieces; everything is handcrafted, even the chain’s links have been made individually using at least 7 different techniques ( 4 of them are my own design )

I love playing with wire as I define myself as a “ wire-o-maniac ” and in the path of this romance I decided start sharing it with other people too

I can’t keep everything I make ( even if I would ... trust me )

Hope you also will find something to love in mine. All the best!! Carmela

The 12th-century Micklegate Bar in York, England. This was once the main entrance into the old walled city for people coming from the south. It served as a ceremonial entrance for monarchs: King Edward IV, Richard III Henry VII, James I, Charles I, the future James II all entered the city through here.
Often displayed on the gatehouse were the heads and other body parts of enemies. Richard Plantagenet, 3rd Duke of York (father of Edward IV and Richard III), Edmund, Earl of Rutland (another son of Richard) and Richard Neville, 5th Earl of Salisbury, all had their severed heads displayed on this gatehouse.
The lower part of the gatehouse is 12th century, the upper parts date to later centuries.
