After a nasty accident at home in September I was taken by ambulance to George Elliot Hhospital Nuneaton. I was in terrible pain and recieved immediate care from the fanantastic team of doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff, which included a C.T scan that revealed 6 broken ribs.
Subsequently my treatment from the team concentrated on pain management and ensuring my lunges stayed healthy. Although I'm hopeful of being discharged this week I wish to commend the wonderful staff who contributed to my care, from the doctors to the dinner ladies, all who ensured my stay was as comfortable as possible. To pick out one individual from such a kind and caring team is difficult but if I had to make a choice it would have to be Amna, a lovely young nurse who went the extra mile to give her patients the comfort they needed.
