Quick tip for those who do not want to tie up two channels when using the 7 and 10 channel Textgen/Gyro receivers:

Stab on/off is selectable on ch7 or ch5. Gain control is fixed on ch8. This will make two channels not usable. There is another way however,

Stab on/off can also be changed to stabilizer always on so this saves one channel. So a 10 channels will become 9 usable channel or 7 channel becomes 6 usable when stabilizer is used.

Got a Futaba Gold transmitter that you want to convert to Lemon 2.4 DSMP.
The Futaba PPM signal is too low a voltage to work reliably with a Lemon module, This will be seen as a the Lemon not being able to bind with a receiver, despite the fact that the Lemon LEDs are illuminated!
Simple solution is to solder 10k resistor across the PPM and + Voltage pads on the module connections. See phot.
This resistor increases the PPM voltage to a level which the Lemon module can work with!
The other resistor shown on the plug is to make sure the meter on the transmitter works ok.

This is the module you need, we have plenty in stock currently, so if you have been thinking about doing a conversion, do it in the Winter and enjoy your retro Tx in the Spring and Summer!
