The first artist to exhibit in our new second floor gallery is Andy Knill with his Art For Fun exhibition!

Andy is a retired geography teacher who has used drawing since 2015 as a mindfulness exercise to help his mental health. After moving to Purbeck in 2016 he left teaching and launched himself as an artist in 2017, curious to see if his art would sell.

Art for Fun, named after the activity that Andy hosts at AndyKnillArt Studio year-round. Andy believes that art is a fun activity and several of the pieces here were initially created with just that in mind. Andy hopes that you have fun looking at the examples of his art on a variety of media.

The galery spaces are available to view whilst the building is open! Usually 9 AM - 10 PM (subject to change!)
