Today we're delighted to welcome and shine the spotlight on local artist and printmaker Jo Porter, a valued member of the Swanage community.
Based in the heart of Swanage, Jo creates beautiful handcrafted linocut and silkscreen prints inspired by the stunning landscapes, coastline, wildlife, and natural beauty of the Jurassic Coast and Isle of Purbeck. Her distinctive work captures the essence of our local area, celebrating the places that make Swanage such a special place to live and visit.
Working from her studio in Tilly Mead, Jo's artwork reflects both her creativity and her deep connection to the local environment. Her prints have become popular with residents and visitors alike, offering a unique and lasting reminder of the beauty of Purbeck. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿฌ

At 19:00, Purbeck Art Weeks 2026 continues with another opportunity to hear one of the interviews from this yearโ€™s successful artist series, celebrating the creativity and talent that make Purbeck Art Weeks such a special event.

The day rounds off with Chris Bradey and Bookmarks, exploring books, authors and the joy of reading.
