All our girls are tucked in for winter .. Our space suits proved to be very useful last year .. not only protecting bees from cold and rain but also protecting our hives from damp damage …
Got stung few times while covering my beautiful bees and fixing their hives .. hey but it’s all worth it !!! Yes they are hard work, expensive and painful but gosh I love beekeeping xx 😘 🐝❤️😻🙌🍯🐝❤️ we still left some honey for sale !!! What a horrible month .. barely any sunshine and all just rain… however spring is upon us and bees have to be cleaned, checked, separated… a lot of work not only in an apiary but at home too… painting and sorting and cleaning… thank you for amazing friends who helped us to start going! 4 strong hives … 3 small nukes and still more to come … anyone is interested in beekeeping? Look no further… our bees will soon be available! 🐝♥️😂

Winter is over !!!! It is time to wake up little bees … small jobs start now… little extra feeding until the flowers start to bloom … then cleaning and checking hives … sadly we have lost one hive this year… (much better compared to last year !! ) can’t wait to start our bee spring work! Our bees are 100% chemical free bees and surviving Varroa purely by themselves without any human intervention!!!! Go bees 🐝!! I am so proud of you ♥️♥️♥️

Yesterday we have visited Wiltshire Honey and Bee show… We have entered into few competitions.. my fist time ever and the only Swindon BKA entry in years !!! .. 🙂 used the wrong jar for our honey competition 😂 apparently you have to have special jars for this ! Who knew 😂 … But one of my photographs got Commended! 😎🥳 Lectures were amazing.. learned a lot! Tasted few different honey beers and meads (as you would 😉 ) bring on next year!!! Our honey will be on top place for sure 😇🥰😉
