Not every damaged floor needs replacing.

This engineered oak floor had suffered years of wear, along with burn marks, water staining and deep scratches that had left it looking tired and patchy.

After a full professional restoration, the damage has been removed where possible, the natural character of the oak has been brought back to life, and the floor is once again something the homeowners can be proud of.

This one has a really nice transformation, especially against those dark blue walls.

Old pine floors like this often have plenty of life left in them, they just need the right process to reveal it.

A tired old pine floor brought back to life.

The brief was simple: restore the floor while keeping as much of its original character as possible.

A few damaged boards were carefully repaired using reclaimed timber, allowing the repairs to blend naturally with the age and character of the existing floor.

The floor was then fully sanded back to bare wood, primed with Bona Classic UX to enhance the natural beauty of the pine, and finished with Bona Traffic HD for exceptional durability.

With pets in the home, the customer wanted the reassurance of a hard-wearing finish that could stand up to daily life while still looking great for years to come.

A complete transformation while preserving the character that makes these original pine floors so special.

Restoring these 140-year-old original pine floorboards.

Some areas required careful repair, so reclaimed pine boards were installed to match the age and character of the existing floor. The full area was then sanded and refinished, removing decades of wear while preserving the natural grain and authenticity.

Proper restoration is about blending repairs seamlessly so the floor keeps its story.

A full transformation in this beautiful Cotswolds home ✨

The home already had great character, and this project has taken it a step further. We uplifted the existing flooring, ply boarded and applied smoothing compound to allow both rooms to flow seamlessly together. Finished with a stunning engineered oak herringbone floor and completed with new skirting boards for a crisp, clean finish.
