JUST TO CLEAR UP A VERY STRANGE RUMOUR......CRYSTAL SPIRIT IS VERY MUCH OPEN!!!

We have had a very surprised customer contact us today after seeing several posts and/ or comments on Facebook saying that Crystal Spirit has closed down for good! 😲 WE DEFINATELY HAVE NOT!

Crystal Spirit at 21 Morley Street, Swindon, SN1 1SG, has been here in this particular shop for 9 years, and trading in Swindon itself for almost 30 years, and we are definately OPEN for business and are trading as usual. PLEASE NOTE we are not planning on going anywhere! ❤😀🧡😁💛🙂💚

We are not quite sure where this information has come from, or where it was listed, but we would really appreciate it if our lovely customers could help us put the record straight if you happen to see anything saying otherwise. If you do spot one of these posts saying we are closed, please take a screenshot, if you can, and send it to us. We would love to know where this rather odd rumour started!

In the meantime, our doors are OPEN, and it's very much business as usual.

This amazing piece of artwork was created by Andrew Burns Colwill for Swindon Paint fest 2023. He was joined by local artist Ken White to add some finishing touches to complete this beautiful piece. It was wonderful to hear that Andrew and Ken had joined together to add the finishing touches to this mural. It was amazing to see them work. Crystal Spirit is proud and honoured to have been chosen to have this stunning and moving piece of artwork on the end wall of our building.
This stunning and huge mural named 'Blindfolded' was created by Andrew, and was painted over a number of days to go from a completely blank wall to the remarkable masterpiece you can see today. See the photos for its creation from a blank white wall to what it is today.
Many people still come to see this mural, which though, not hidden, only reveals itself to people who choose to walk alongside the end of the shop. It needs to be viewed from across the small back road to appreciate the impact and the work and imagination that went into the creation of this piece.
We take pride in having this piece there, and try to look after the area as well as we can in order for visitors to view this in its full glory!
If you have occasion to visit Swindon, do put this on your places to see list. If you are an art lover, I am sure you will be pleased you took the time to seek it out. If using a sat nav, put in postcode: SN1 1SG, and if asked for house number you can put 21 or list Crystal Spirit.

We've put some new 'No fly tipping' signs up to try and help with this continuous problem at the side of our shop on Morley Street.

The chest of drawers have been reported multiple times to Swindon Borough Council - hopefully they'll be gone soon 🤞

The only bags we put there are the red and clear HILLS bags which we pay to have picked up.

Some creations tell you what they want to become... this was one of them. 🌳✨
Inspired by the ancient trees of Avebury, this one-of-a-kind crystal tree stands over 3ft tall, rooted on a beautiful piece of oak. Every branch has been adorned with sparkling crystal chips that catch the light beautifully.
Hidden within the branches is a secret woodland nook, where a Green Man watches over a tiny fairy sitting on real mushrooms that I dried myself. It's a piece that invites you to stop, look closer, and discover something new each time.
I've got plenty more ideas for future trees, but this one will never be made again. Every tree takes on its own character, so no two will ever be the same.
Crafted entirely by hand with love, patience, and imagination. Hope you love it as much as I did creating it x
