Safe to say, that made my day!

I work full-time alongside A Dash of Joy, so when those little cha-ching notifications pop up, they mean even more. There’s something rather lovely about spending the day in the office, coming home and getting straight into making, packing and shipping orders.

These two orders are now on their way to their new homes, and I’m very grateful that someone chose one of my little creations to bring a dash of joy to their everyday. 💛

It’s:
✨ Preparing for spooky season
☕ Investing in your cosy era
🧡 Supporting your own happiness
🎃 And frankly, very sensible financial planning

Because if you saw it and thought “that would make me happy”… who are we to argue with that?

Why is the capybara glass tumbler basically the ultimate gift? Let me make my case… 👇

✨ It’s actually useful. Not another thing destined to gather dust in a drawer.

🩷 It has a capybara on it. And honestly, that feels like enough of a reason.

🥤 It turns an everyday drink into a tiny moment of joy. Coffee? Better. Iced drink? Better. Hydration? Suddenly much more exciting.

🎁 And most importantly, it has that “I saw this and thought of you” feeling. Which is exactly what a good gift should do.

Basically: useful enough to keep, lovely enough to gift and joyful enough to make you smile. 💛

A morning at A Dash of Joy HQ… according to Rocky.

Coffee? Obviously. ☕
Emails? Eventually.
Making pretty things? Absolutely.
Quality control? Rocky has taken this role very seriously. 😂

A little peek behind the scenes at the real A Dash of Joy HQ, where there’s usually a mixture of making, packing, planning, coffee… and one very important dachshund supervisor.

Because behind all the colourful gifts and lovely little things, there’s just me, doing my best to make everyday moments a little less ordinary. 💛

And yes, Rocky is paid entirely in snacks.

Is it too soon to say I’m DONE with summer? 👀 🙈

Because I’m ready for cosy boots, oversized jumpers, crunchy leaves and pumpkin spice lattes. 🎃🍂☕️

And yes… I realise it’s still August.
But my brain has already packed away the flip flops and moved into a fictional cottage with a blanket and a pumpkin candle.

Which has got me wondering…

Is it TOO soon to start bringing out the autumn & Halloween goodies? 🎃

Because I have ideas.
So many ideas.
And I’m not entirely convinced I have the self-control to wait. 😂

Tell me: are you still clinging onto summer, or are you ready for ALL things autumn?

But halfway through painting my kitchen, I suddenly realised…

I’m literally living in the A Dash of Joy colour palette. 🤣

Warm cream? ✅
Sage? ✅
Coral? ✅
A little bit of honey? ✅
Kitchen looking like a bomb has gone off? Also ✅

Apparently I’ve been so committed to the brand that I’ve started decorating my actual house in it. 😂

Everyday things, less ordinary… including DIY apparently. 🏡✨

Please tell me I’m not the only small business owner who accidentally brands their entire life?!
