Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, this afternoon's DJ event has had to be cancelled at short notice! We still have lots of singles to buy however, everything from Madonna to Bob Marley, so if you're a music fan stop by the shop for a browse. You can also try before you buy! 🎧🎶

Magic Roundabout Records will be in the shop this Saturday (12th) as part of this year's Swindon Shuffle festival, which raises funds for Prospect Hospice! We've got lots of singles for sale, so join us from 12-4pm for a DJ open mic afternoon, where you can pick the music and have a go yourself! 🎧

⭐ We need donations! ⭐

We're in need of good quality vinyl, CDs, DVDs, computer games, and all things music and media! 💿🎧

We also take books, jigsaw puzzles, musical instruments, audio electricals, craft bits and bobs and fabric.

These can be dropped off at our shop at any time during opening hours.

Your donations not only help keep our shelves full but you're also helping to support end of life care in Swindon and the surrounding areas 💚

If you've visited our shop lately, you may have noticed a little addition to our kids' section called Not Just For Kids. Here we'll be showcasing classic children's literature that's perfect for adults to read and enjoy, as well as children! 📚

This year is National Year of Reading, and we've been discovering the joy of re-reading books we read as kids, or books we never got to read and have only heard about or seen the film version of. Some have made us laugh, some have made us cry (looking at you, Velveteen Rabbit!), and some are not at all how we remember.

So if there's a children's book you've always wanted to read, curl up with a cup of tea and make this the year! 💚

From 26-28 August, every sale in our Prospect Hospice shops and every cash donation made will be matched, thanks to an incredibly generous donor! This means your sale or donation gets doubled, providing valuable funds for your local hospice 💚

This event runs until 10pm on Friday, so pop into our shops in the next few days and grab yourself a bargain while also doubling your contribution! 📚👕

The window has been refreshed, and features lots of new music books including Aubrey Powell's Through the Prism, complete with gorgeous rainbow sprayed edges! There's also more great fiction reads than you can shake a stick at. Perfect for keeping you entertained on these warm summer evenings!

Every Thursday in August we'll be holding free art drop-in sessions where you can spend some time drawing, colouring and collaging! So if you're looking for a way to relax this summer, have some creative time to yourself or with your kids, or maybe even learn a new skill then stop by the shop between 10-3 on a Thursday! ✍🖼👩‍🎨

All ages are welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult)
