New arrival today

This Gors & Kallmann upright arrived today, in part exchange for a Wilh. Steinberg upright. It will serve someone well as a first piano being only twenty years old. The styling is very traditional and technically it is in excellent condition.
I enjoyed a great day at the showroom today with a couple of visitors to host, paperwork, voicing a Yamaha and tunings on pianos from Grotrian-Steinweg, Sauter and Wilh.Steinberg. What’s not to like, plus I got my run in at the end of the day. Wishing you a happy weekend.

Wow, a stunning Sauter

I tuned this beautiful, exotic Sauter today, supplied new by colleagues of ours. Bespoke made by special order it looks amazing in a beautiful home. As with all Sauter pianos, the tonal performance is impressive and the build quality exceptional. I do like a bespoke wood finish…

Concert sponsorship

We were pleased to support a local fund raising concert yesterday with the supply of a piano for the event. Local music teachers Claire Ellis and Bethany Miles staged this concert to raise funds for CRUK. The event was a huge success with wonderful performances and substantial funds raised for this worthwhile charity

A great Saturday afternoon

Today we welcomed Emma Parker and some of her students to the showroom. The purpose of the visit was for the students to play on the piano that we supply to the local ABRSM exam centre. It was fantastic to hear each student play, to talk pianos and share our pianos with everyone. This experience is open to all local pianos teachers, contact us if you would like to arrange a visit.

Steinway upright piano

This fine Steinway piano sits majestically in our showroom after a complete restoration. It has a mellow, resonant tonal character with an ‘old world’ charm that sets it apart from other pianos. The polished rosewood cabinet is stunning and much admired by visitors. We are offering a 10% price reduction on this piano to our Facebook friends during the month of June 🎹😊

Half term Friday drop in

We are opening the showroom for anyone to visit this Friday. The more the merrier, all are welcome and we are offering a 10% reduction in our pre-owned pianos and reductions on selected new pianos for this event. Hello Facebook friends!

After a couple of weeks of absence due to a trip to Canada I am back and raring to go again! It is wonderful to walk into the showroom and see our wonderful pianos. This image was taken at Calgary airport, an ingenious way to disguise a piano. If it didn’t sound so appallingly out of tune I would have bashed out a tune for you…🤣🤣

Stunning Kawai GL10

We have just received this image of a Kawai GL10 that Tobie delivered for us on Wednesday. I think you’ll agree, it looks stunning in this location. I can’t wait to see it in place and hear how it sounds. After voicing in the showroom this particular piano had a very sweet tone, its replacement is on order 😊
