What an incredible evening at the 2026 Spirit of Tamworth Community Awards hosted by Tamworth Round Table!

Soudal UK was honoured to sponsor this year’s event and recognise the amazing people who make Tamworth such a strong and supportive community. Over 300 people attended, and the event was live‑streamed for the first time ever for those who couldn't be there.

We were delighted to present the Community Wellbeing Award to Tamworth Ramblers, who were recognised for helping local people improve their mental health and stay active through inclusive group walks.

This year’s theme focused on Men’s Mental Health, with emotional speeches and fundraising for Andys Man Club.
We were also treated to a brilliant performance from the The D-Day Juniors.

Huge congratulations to all nominees and winners, including overall winners Brothers in Need. Proud to be part of this community. ❤️

Public Apology

A Formal Public Apology from the XRT Committee. 🐾📜

​While the Spirit of Tamworth Spirit of Tamworth Community Awards on Saturday was a night to remember, we have to address a glaring omission in our guest list.

​It has come to our attention that Tamworth’s most consistent community servant—a local legend who holds court daily at the Castle—was notably absent from the red carpet. 🏰

​Pants the Cat, we can only apologise. Your dedication to greeting the public and providing therapeutic head-scratches to passing kids is a service to this town that is truly 'Unsung'.

​We promise to have a VIP (Very Important Puss) seat and a bowl of the finest Dreamies waiting for you next year. 🍗✨

​What a night. Our hearts are full this morning after an incredible evening at Statfold celebrating the absolute best of our community.

​To every nominee, finalist, and winner: thank you for everything you do. You are the reason this town is such a special place to live.

​The Tamworth Round Table View: Seeing everyone come together like this is exactly why we do what we do. From the emotional speeches to the massive cheers, the atmosphere in that room was electric.
