There are a few big changes coming to DES further enhancing our high level of customer service even more and to do so we need more staff.

We are experiencing an incredible period of expansion. To support our next phase of scaling, we are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our team.

If you understand the difference between an unscripted chat on the trade counter and a strategic on-site consultation as well as being a peoples person, we want to hear from you. This is an opportunity to share your own ideas, have support of 50+ years combined industry knowledge and the option of boundless potential.

Previous experience in the electrical wholesale trade would be preferred but is not essential.

We are hiring!

Due to continued year-on-year growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive the next stage of the business.

What we need from you?:

Proven experience in sales account management or branch management, within the electrical wholesale sector (min 3-4 years)

Naturally well organised, with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workload

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence speaking on the phone and meeting new and existing customers to generate business

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when it comes to administration, procedures, and compliance

A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive approach, with a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude

A good working knowledge of health and safety within a busy wholesale and/or commercial environment

Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, and customer relationship building

Hold a current UK Driving Licence
